How do I change my password?

You may be asked from time to time to change your password as part of our security settings. Before you can change your password; however, you must be connected to the Southwest Microwave network directly for authentication purposes. You will not be able to change your password if you are connected through the Wireless Network and/or through GlobalProtect or the VPN. If you attempt to change your password this way it will change your password on your computer; but, it will not change your password through the network.

Instructions:
  1. Ensure you are hard line connected to the SMI Network.
  2. Press, 'ctrl' 'alt' 'delete' and click Change your password.
  3. Enter your old password, and then your new password, twice.
  4. Restart your computer or log out and log back in, in order to authenticate with the network.
